“Sunny & Grouch” was created for my final second-year project, based on an open-ended brief of ‘More or Less’. I chose to explore the theme of ‘Opposites attract’ where I depicted two contrasting characters forced to work together to escape a confined space they found themselves locked in. This film was a complete creative endeavor for me, from initial concept and set design through to character design, movement, and animation, right through to the music, which I performed on the violin and edited myself.
